The Craft Distillers’ Still on the Hill Festival is held during the fall season and it gives visitors a chance to sample delicious local cuisine and spirits made in Colorado. One dirt road in particular which is known as the Lower French Gulch (this can be reached from Wellington Road) takes you through mining remnants and spectacular aspen which then turns into sharply rising roads leading to French Pass directly above timberline.
